US court has ordered Chicago University to release Tinubu's Academic records to Atiku

A court in the United States has ordered the University of Chicago to provide former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar access to the educational records of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.

The presiding judge, Nancy Maldonado, ruled that Tinubu's academic records must be made available to Atiku for scrutiny, granting a two-week deadline for the University to hand over the records.

She also issued a similar order to the Chief Judge of a U.S. court, Jeffrey Gilbert, on September 20th, directing the University of Chicago to release Tinubu's academic transcripts just as Atiku had requested, stating that Atiku has the right to access the records.

According to the judge, the University must complete any necessary procedures by Tuesday.

If successful, the request by the former Nigerian President and prominent member of the opposition party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, could enable him to obtain Tinubu's academic records to verify claims that Tinubu's credentials are questionable.
