Concerned parents, teachers, and youth leaders in Wukari have appealed to Governor Agbu Kefas to reconstruct Riti Primary School in the area.
In an open letter by the youth leader of the area, Zaka Abe noted that the school, which was once a symbol of hope and education, now stands in ruins due to the communal crisis that rocked the area.
The youth leader said dilapidated classrooms, deteriorating infrastructure, and deplorable conditions have severely impacted the students' education and well-being.
Zaka Abe appealed for immediate intervention from the state government to allocate resources and initiate the reconstruction of Riti Primary School.
He emphasized that the endeavor is not only about rebuilding the school's physical structure but also about restoring hope and providing a safe and conducive learning environment for the children.
While recognizing the challenges faced by the state, he stressed the importance of investing in education, particularly in the aftermath of the communal crisis.
