Lagos State Police have arrested Naira Marley

 The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Afrobeats musician Naira Marley in connection with the death of his former associate, Mobhad.

According to the spokesperson for the police force, Benjamin Hundeyin, this was revealed on Tuesday.

He stated, "Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has been arrested for questioning about other ongoing investigations."

Following Mobhad's death in September, particularly young Nigerians, including musicians, have been demanding answers from Naira Marley and others before his burial.

Naira Marley has since expressed his condolences.

Many citizens have engaged in protests across the country to demand justice, prompting the police force to take the step of inviting Mobhad's close associates for questioning to aid in unraveling the circumstances of his death.
