Nuhu Abeh, who hails from Wukari local government area, has officially taken office as the new Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State.
He steps into this role to complete the tenure of his predecessor, Governor Agbu Kefas, who represents the southern zone.
The inauguration ceremony for the new State Chairman took place at the PDP State Secretariat in Jalingo, and it was graced by Kabiru Nappa Jairo, the Northeast Zonal Secretary of the party.
He expressed satisfaction with the stronghold of PDP in Taraba State, emphasizing its long history and continued influence.
Inuwa Bakari, the State Deputy Chairman of the party, extended his gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for his unwavering commitment to resolving internal conflicts within the party, which has contributed to a harmonious transition.
Nuhu Abeh, the newly sworn-in State Chairman of the PDP, expressed his appreciation to Governor Agbu Kefas for entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the party in the state.
The oath of office and allegiance was administered to the new Chairman, as well as the new State Organizing Secretary, by Barrister Nurudeen Isa Bambi.
Furthermore, certificates of return were presented to the nominees by the State Deputy Governor, Aminu Abdullahi Alkali.
This transition marks a pivotal moment in the leadership of the PDP in Taraba State and is expected to shape the party's direction and activities in the region moving forward.
