Kuteb students lament lack of unity among them.

For development to thrive in Kuteb communities there is a need to forge common ties between the Kuteb and other ethnicities.

The call was made during a one-day summit organized by the National Community of Kuteb Students held on Saturday, October 28 2023 at Duvet Hall ATC Jalingo.

The summit with the theme "the unity of Kuteb and other nations " featured paper presentations from keynote speakers and awards presentations to some individuals who distinguished themselves.

Speaking, Professor Ishaku of the Moddibbo Adama University Yola Adamawa State who spoke on challenges facing unity in Kuteb land called for respect for cultural values.

Similarly, Esther Baba Shamaki a professor at Taraba State University Jalingo emphasized the need for positive usage of social media platforms for progress and development of the society.

She observed that most students abuse the use of social media outlets to the extent that they don't pay attention to lectures, an act she said was inimical to their academic performance.

Earlier, the President of the National Community of Kuteb students Rima Danjuma said the program aims to have an avenue where they would contribute ideas on how to move the Kuteb nation forward.

He expressed optimism that the Programme would strengthen the Kuteb nation to handle the challenges confronting the race.

The president used the medium to call for the deployment of security personnel in some Kuteb communities where there have been security breaches.
