CHECKING THE INFLUX OF ILLEGAL ALIENS INTO THE NIGERIA.

One security challenge posing a threat to the corporate existence of Nigeria is the influx of illegal aliens into the country.

An Alien is an unauthorized foreign resident residing in the country illegally. To say the least, many illegal Aliens are taking advantage of our perceived porous borders to enter the country thereby becoming a threat to our society.

Indeed, keen observers have severally described Nigeria as a very relaxed country. Not that it has nothing to worry about in terms of security and other domestic pressing issues that are known to cause unrest in any nation of the world. 

However, the disturbing aspect of it all is that everybody is a citizen once you can find your way into the country. It is even worse in the event of a conflict of identity, the ensuing confusion may result in the assault of bonafide citizens of the country.
